Maggie said

I am truly delighted to be joining CVAA, an influential and effective organisation with a clear mission. This post offers me a unique opportunity to fulfil my joint passions of achieving positive change for children and young people alongside building the strength of the voluntary sector supporting them. I am looking forward to working with CVAA members and the staff team to build on the excellent work of the last few years developing best practice in adoption and supporting cross initiatives to give more children the loving stable families they deserve.

Ray Shostak, Chair of CVAA said

The Board of CVAA, and our Agencies, who continue to provide over 25% of all adoption placements across the UK, look forward to welcoming Maggie as our next CEO. And as CVAA grows its role in supporting improved practice across the system she clearly brings considerable insight, passion and skills to the role.

Maggie will take up her new post in mid-November 2018.
