The members of the CVAA:

• have a long track record of providing excellent services to all members of the adoption triangle throughout the process

• have many years of experience in the field of adoption, giving us a depth of understanding which informs our work

• are child centred and user-friendly

• have experience of working in partnership with local authorities, and of liaising with other agencies including health and education

• have particular expertise in recruiting and preparing adopters for children who are hard to place

• many CVAA members have expertise in recruiting black, mixed heritage and minority ethnic adopters

• have recognised skills in providing adoption support throughout placement and after the adoption order has been made

• CVAA post adoption services are available on an indefinite basis to adopted children, adopted adults and adopters.
