• CVAA members have all been subject to inspection by the SSI and CSCI for many years and are now registered with OFSTED as approved Adoption Agencies.

• Our members run specialist agencies to a high standard.

• Disruption rates are very low - 6% in 2006/7

• 48% of all children placed for adoption in the UK through the Adoption Register in 2006/7 were placed with adopters approved by CVAA agencies.

• Member agencies employ a high proportion of experienced, skilled adoption workers.

• Member agencies provide excellent management and supervision to ensure that high levels of services are maintained.
