National Adoption Week 1 – 7 November 2010
Adoption Agencies across the UK will be focussing their efforts on finding adoptive families during National Adoption Week. Adoption enables children who have had a difficult start in life to grow up in a loving and caring family. CVAA member agencies are adoption specialists – they have a proven track record of placing children for adoption and supporting adoptive families over many years.

CHANNEL 4 ADOPTION SERIES
FIND ME A FAMILY follows three households of prospective adopters, over 18 months, who have agreed to take part in a pioneering project that aims to find homes for the children who are harder to place. The series is complemented by a website www.channel4.com/adopt which provides a unique online gathering of first-hand experience around everything to do with adoption:- video testimonies from people who have been adopted, adopters, social workers, siblings, people left in the system, potential adopters, every perspective that helps give insight into the adoption process.
