Why you should attend

  • You will have an opportunity to learn what PAC-UK is doing in terms of a specific aspect of work with teenage adoptees, whilst at the same time having the opportunity to identify the situations you find most challenging and work in smaller groups to consider various solutions.
  • You will be able to network with practitioners from other agencies: whether you are new to adoption or have been undertaking assessments for many years, this is a chance to share best practice and glean new ideas.


The session will discuss PAC-UK education service, support discussion around the issues and difficulties that teenage adoptees may face in education with practical strategies that can address these. We will also hear from the Adopteen’s Service to provide an adoptees voice on what they found difficult in education and what support they found effective.

We will hear from Rebecca Wilkins, Education Practice Manager at PAC-UK and Tanya Killick, Adopteens Project Worker at PAC-UK. 


A member of staff will be in touch with attendees one week prior to the event to share a pre-event delegate pack.

Arrive for registration at 10:30 am.
